Interesting orienteering terrains await in Tampere next summer

Orienteering combines psysical fitness and orienteering skills. It gives opportunity to do the sport with different goals. Orienteering is an excellent sport for the whole family, from kids to masters. 

All the European Masters Games orienteering competition centers are close to Tampere city centre. We have four different competition terrains each of a slightly different type. There are versatile orienteering courses and terrains that will challenge the orienteers both skill and physically, taking into account the requirements of different age groups.

Cooperation between clubs creates a good event

Orienteering events are organized by orienteering clubs Koovee, Tampereen Pyrintö, Kangasala SK and Epilän Esa. The clubs have cooperated for a long time, for example, regarding the “Tampereen Iltarastit” (open course), which are organized weekly throughout the year.
